What pipe standards and certifications do you supply to?
Metal Junction FZE supplies pipes certified to all major international standards including API 5L (Grade B through X70, PSL1 and PSL2), ASTM A106 Grade B, ASTM A53, ASTM A312 (stainless steel), ASTM A335 (alloy steel P1–P91), ASTM A790 (duplex/super duplex), and ASME B36.10/B36.19. What is the difference between seamless and welded (ERW) pipe?
Seamless pipe is manufactured by hot-extruding a solid billet through a die — there is no weld seam, meaning the pipe has uniform wall thickness and strength throughout. ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipe is formed from a flat steel strip that is roll-formed into a tube shape and welded longitudinally. Seamless pipe is more expensive but is mandatory for high-pressure, high-temperature, and sour service (H₂S) applications where weld integrity is critical. ERW is perfectly acceptable for lower-pressure applications and is more cost-effective. We supply both — and can advise on which is required for your application.
Do you supply pipes for ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, and PDO projects?
Yes. Metal Junction FZE supports full vendor pre-qualification and Approved Vendor List (AVL) registration for major operators including ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, PDO (Oman), QatarEnergy, KNPC, GASCO, and other major NOCs and EPC companies operating in the GCC. We prepare and submit all required PQ documentation, quality certificates, and reference lists. Our products are sourced from manufacturers who are already approved by these operators, which simplifies the AVL process significantly.
What size range of pipes can you supply?
Our standard range covers NPS ¼" through 24" in seamless construction and up to 72" for large-diameter welded pipes (LSAW/SSAW). Standard schedules from SCH 10 through XXS are available from stock. Non-standard sizes, custom wall thicknesses, and large-diameter pipes (above 24" NPS) are sourced through our global manufacturer network with typical lead times of 8–16 weeks depending on specification.
What documentation is included with every pipe order?
Every pipe order from Metal Junction FZE includes: (1) Mill Test Certificate (MTC) with chemical composition and mechanical test results per heat number; (2) Inspection Release Note (IRN) confirming the pipes passed final inspection; (3) Packing list with pipe counts, heat numbers, lengths, and weights; (4) Certificate of Origin as required. We also offer EN 10204 Type 3.1 and 3.2 inspection certificates, third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or your nominated inspector, and PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing for alloy and stainless pipes.
